OUR History | Salvador Molly’s started as a hot tamale cart at Portland Farmers Market thirteen years ago. Our founding chef, Scott Moritz, could not pack enough of his handmade tamales into ice chests to meet demand, so the cart became a small café that has rapidly grown over the years. Salvador Molly’s prides itself as not only a local Portland eatery, but an escape from the everyday. We like to think of our little cafe as a taste bud traveling experience. Our staff, friends, and customers travel the globe, and then come home hungry for more of the exciting variety of flavors this fascinating world we live in has to offer. So, although the adventure may end, we continue serving up the dishes we’ve discovered! Above all else, Salvador Molly's is about food and fun. We hope you will stop by for a little slice of paradise and take your taste buds for a trip! |
